Series of Tubes

I'm back into Last.fm these days. Using it as an actual radio is cool, though I get the oddest mix of metal, folk, and folk metal. My phone is sliding ever faster down the slope of physical disintegration. I'm hard on my stuff and I feel bad about it. People have tweaked Fedora 10 to work on the XO, and are selling for the price of the SD card. I'm looking really hard at that. I've bought the card for cheaper, so as usual, I'm waiting for things to arrive in the mail. I've started my Christmas shopping, though not for anyone out of the immediate family so far. Also, I'm back on my MacOS partition and am back to playing those games. Otherwise I spend my time net cruising, which is probably unhealthy. Oi.

Movies

I really should take more notes on things. I always forget nice things. Night before last, I was having an awesome dream, but I forgot it after a minute of awakeness. Oi.

Last night in Lit class we watched the movie adaptation of One True Thing. I ended up liking the book at about three o'clock in the morning, when I should have been asleep. So it was movie night. Popcorn, soda, etc. Anyway, as is the case with most movies-from-books, the movie was different from the book. It was still good though.

Thunka Thunka

So, I'm trucking along, only a few papers behind in college. However, academia is only the tip of the iceberg, as it were, in college.

Bringing people in to the light of social networking, that's my newest motto. "Today" Livi and I inducted Derek into the annals of Facebook. This was done in the Building Three upper lobby, near the end of our hour long chat sessions. My iPod Touch (1G) was instrumental in registering him. This was rather interesting actually... we sprung it on him rather spontaneously!

Anyway, enough about that. I've become a bit of a news junkie, much to my chagrin. I still watch all my nice TV shows, half of them off nice Asian sites. I've written love all over my hands, I've possibly gotten Harvey a couple more guests. Good play by the way.

Rome: Total War has a great soundtrack. I like it a lot. I've discovered some nice little nuggets that I haven't heard in-game. Game Soundtracks are seriously awesome.

Nothing new under the sun!
