Hiatus.

So, frankly I forgot about this little effort. Not that life has been too terribly busy, my memory is just a cheese grater. I'm on Winter Break right now, which is nice, but I've already registered for winter term, so I'm a bit impatient. I've decided to go for Renewable Energy technology, so we'll see how long that lasts. To even qualify, I'm working my way up the math ladder.
Snow Leopard has been installed on the Macbook, and seems to be OK through two point releases, although it likes to throw...things at me. I've been through a few reinstalls from backup, mostly because I muck about too much, except for the time the Hard Drive decided it was in FAT32 and couldn't do anthing to itself. I'm not sure how that happened.
Recently, I've gotten myself into all sorts of fun things. Currently, I'm attempting to learn Objective-C, which is the language that native OS X programs are more or less written in. I bought a couple books, so it's mostly a matter of working my way through and understanding it.
Much Fall of Blood is coming out in May. This latest book in one my favorite series has been a long time coming, and I'm already reading the snippets as they come out. It looks pretty awesome, so I don't begrudge the authors too much. Also Crucible of Empire, the sequel to a book that I was afraid mught be standalone, is coming out soon as well. Life is good on the book front.
I hope to not leave such a gap between posts again, really, I do.
